Somerset Place has been acquired by the Strategic Iconic Assets Heritage Acquisition Fund (SIAHAF), a Bruneian private equity fund focused on the renewal and development of historic British properties. The principal partners of the fund are British entrepreneur Johnny Sandelson and Brunei-based sponsor Shuif Hussain.
SIAHAF completed the acquisition of Somerset Place in February 2012 and immediately put in place an extensive £60 million restoration programme overseen by a worldclass team of local experts and international consultants.WWW.SIAHAF.COM
The interiors of the Somerset Place apartments are being renovated by Paul Davis & Partners, a London based practice known for its skilful integration of contemporary architecture within historic spaces.
